Oct 26,  · When Get in Where You Fit In was released in , west coast rap & hip-hop were just starting to hit the mainstream with the help of Dr. Dre and Snoop Doggy Dogg. Too Short has always been putting out great music since the late 80s and this album is my favorite from Short/5().

Although he tries to cop part of the current P-Funk-inspired gangsta rap, Too Short sounds lost and dated on the overlong, sample-reliant, grotesquely misogynist, and musically muddled Get in Where You Fit In.4/

Too Short has always been putting out great music since the late 80s and this album is my favorite from Short. There are so many classics on here. The album starts off great with I'm a Player and then just keeps going strong with Just Another Day and Gotta Get Some Lovin'. This is one of those albums that every hip-hop fan should have/5().
