Dec 29,  · F.M.D. also know as Fecal-Matter Discorporated is an independent label dedicated to sexual deviants from all over. Originally dedicated to to metal and grindcore, they now are open to most forms of noise or as the label puts it "harsh sick sexual deviant style noise". WARNING: Fecal-Matter Discorporated's website and releases.

Jul 26,  · The recording layer of a CD-R disc is composed of one of cyanine, phthalocyanine or azo dye. Some even use a gold layer. Information is written to a CD-R disc by means of a laser to heat and alter the dye sufficient to create a pattern of marks and thereby mimic the pits of a molded CD. So how do you determine if the disk was recorded properly.

Sep 13,  · I mostly use Taiyo Yuden CD-r's for the last 15 years (white coated tops) and have only good experiences with them, for the best quality backups (of fx. air-checks I like to save for posterity) I use Mitsui (MAM-A) Gold CD-R's, their gold reflective surface "seem" to have better archival spec's.

The answer to this question depends on 2 factors; what is the quality of the CD-R writer and what is the quality of the CD-R disc. Assuming you have a professional CD-R writer and the media you are using is professional quality, there is no difference between pressed CDs and burned CD-Rs. This will vary depending on the burn speed.

Mar 05,  · In my experience most cdr's do degrade/become unplayable/unreliable over years time. Proper CDs do not. I've stored both carefully. Part of the reason why i've purged my collection of cdr's and started buying proper official CDs again is that cdr's become unreliable. Pride of ownership, supporting artists/labels, etc. is part of it too. YMMV.
